Water Pollution Prevention

When it comes to water pollution prevention, TGI§s top priority is to reduce the production waste
going into wastewater. All factories have wastewater treatment equipment to reduce the pollutants in the
wastewater so that the wastewater can meet the local discharge quality standards. Graywater, after being
treated by the treatment system, is in compliance with the legal standard to be discharged to the surface
water body. Due to production process improvement, the recycled water was used for dilution causing TGI
factories discharged a total of 1,276,704 tons of wastewater in 2017, 17.5% more than 2016.
