Chopped Strand is made by chopping continuous strands into certain lengths ranging from 3.2mm to 25.4mm. It can be used as reinforcement for Thermoplastic and Thermosetting Plastics. Each plastic has its compatible Chopped Strand with specific sizing.

| Storage Conditions： |
| |
| Chopped Strand must be kept dry and indoor. Do not open and keep it in the original package before use. There is no shelf life to this product while stored properly, but retest is recommended for optimal performance if it’s been produced for more than three years. Do not stack higher than two pallets. |

|
Glass fiber is an inorganic fiber completely incombustible. Glass fiber has excellent electrical insulation properties, high tensile strength in relation to weight and dimensional stability, good weather and corrosion resistance. Glass fiber is an excellent reinforcement material, has low cost, high strength-to–weight ratio advantages comparing to aluminum or other metals.
Chopped Strand typically suits B.M.C. (Bulk Molding Compound) or Pound Chip used for Hot Press Molding or Injection Molding Method. It is used to make tool hafts, electric components, automotive interior, headlight cases, motherboard connectors, artificial stones, various valves, etc. Applications includes transportation, electronic appliances, housing and construction, industrial/public facilities, sports/recreation, etc.
