TG TECO Vacuum Insulated Glass Corp establishment.


TG Group and TECO Group have announced to form a 65/35 joint venture, “ TG TECO Vacuum Insulated Glass Corporation”, of capital 100 million NT dollars. The first manufacturing facility is to be installed at Changhua Coastal Ind. Dist., capable to produce annually 300 thousand square meter of vacuum insulated glass. The line is expected to be completed in June 2012 and to start commissioning and production in 3rd and 4th quarter of the same year respectively.

Given a wide variety of application, besides on buildings, vacuum insulated glass may also be used on vehicles, promising to be a high-end product and immense market potential in temperate-frigid zones, like in China. Therefore, in the future, production facilities will also be built in China on turnkey project basis.
