The Taiwan Glass Group established the Taiwan Glass China Holding Ltd. in 1993 in order to boost its domestic and foreign competitiveness, and began expanding its role in the Chinese market through a series of plant development projects in China. Established in order to meet demand from an expanding market and boost competitiveness through great scale of production, the TG Huanan Glass Co., Ltd. is one of the Taiwan Glass Group's eight major subsidiaries in China,.   TG Huanan Glass was established in March 2003, and required investment of US$150 million from the Taiwan Glass Group. The plant has an area of 36.5 ha, and employs 830 persons. TG Huanan Glass currently has four main production lines, including a float glass production line with a daily capacity of 700 tons, a float glass production line with a daily capacity of 900 tons, a high-end silver mirror production line with a daily capacity of 15,000 m2, and an environmentally-friendly lens production line with a daily capacity of 20,000 m2.   TG Huanan Glass Co., Ltd. will continue to maintain its world-class competitiveness through its focused business philosophy, solid operating strategy, and sound financial foundation. In the future, it will develop or acquire new types of advanced glass manufacturing technologies, absorb highly competitive aesthetic designs from around the world, and continue to provide customers superior products and services.
