Introduction
Taiwan Autoglass Ind. Corp. was
established in July 1988 as a
joint venture by Taiwan Glass
Ind. Corp., Nippon Sheet Glass
Co., Ltd. (Japan) and Pilkington
Plc. (UK) with capital of NT$300,000,000.
The number of employees as of
November 2003 is 174. Ever since
its incorporation, Taiwan Autoglass
Ind. Corp. has been one of the
chief autoglass suppliers for
most major auto makers in Taiwan
and been recognized and awarded
as the premium supplier by distinguished
auto makers such as Ford and Toyota
for many years.
In recent years, TAG has dedicated
its efforts to the introduction
of Computerized Automated Production
Management and Quality Assurance
System. Its products has acquired
quality certifications from around
the world; factory management
system also attained various quality
and environmental management certifications,
such as Frod Q1, QS9000, ISO9000,
and ISO14000. These efforts have
made TAG successfully expand the
export market and advance itself
as the chief autoglass supplier
for the major automakers in Japan
(MAZDA, SUBARU, ISUZU and SUZUKI)
and the genuine service parts
supplier for European automakers.

Taiwan Glass Ind. Corp.,
specialized in glass manufacturing and processing, in view of assuming social responsibility,
fulfilling the concept of sustainable development, is endeavoring in the pollution prevention and continuous improvements.
