Water Pollution Prevention

When it comes to water pollution prevention, TGI’s top priority is to reduce the production waste
going into wastewater. All factories have wastewater treatment equipment to reduce the pollutants
in the wastewater so that the wastewater can meet the local discharge quality standards. Graywater,
after being treated by the treatment system, is in compliance with the legal standard to be discharged
to the surface water body. The Taoyuan Factory, to reduce wastewater, has recycled part of the
wastewater from production to the wastewater system. In 2016, TGI factories discharged a total of
1,086,336 tons of wastewater, 1.55% less than 2015.
