4.1 Sustainable Environment Strategy
TGI continued its investment in equipment related to environmental protection, pollution
treatment, environmental management systems and environmental education related personnel
training, to achieve compliance with environmental legislation, lower environmental pollution, and
achieve sustainable environmental management. In 2016, TGI invested a total of NT$260 million
in environmental protection, 10% higher compared to 2015, a testament to TGI’s commitment to
environmental protection.
